The KOA OA Knee Brace provides pain relief from the symptoms of OA knee by using a three-point pressure system to reduce the load on the knee and automatically switching from “stand-by” to active tension when needed.
Featuring a custom-fit patented five-strap system where the two diagonal front straps and the rear strap form an “X” to exert pressure on the condyle. The condylar pressure pad is made with “Technogel” padding to prevent pressure sores and optimal pressure distribution.
The strap system works like a winch to optimise the amount of traction and achieve the right degree of tension. The thigh and calf straps feature and elasticated insert that moves with the muscle to prevent the straps from feeling too tight and to remain comfortable while walking. All the straps can be cut to size and have practical “Y-Velcro” fastenings that can easily be repositioned for best fit.
The straps attached to the brace with buckles which enables easy tensioning and then, once secured, the “MiniMagnet” pull tab is attracted to a tiny magnet that attaches it firmly in its housing to prevent it swinging around annoyingly while walking.
A lightweight aluminium alloy mono-lateral stay with a smart adjustable hinge allows extension to be limited to 0°, 10°, 20°, 30° or 40° and flexion to 45°, 60°, 75° or 90°.
Made for maximum efficacy and absolute comfort using “PlusComfort”, a special double-face fabric featuring a hypoallergenic, breathable, soft cotton side and a polyester side for strength.
