Chaneco orthopaedic footwear is manufactured in Northampton, England - the heart of the British footwear industry.
Founded in 1972 by Chris and Angela Hanley, the family owned business manufactured quality uppers for the bespoke Orthopaedic footwear industry for many years before moving forward to produce the Chaneco range of stock and modular footwear.
Today the company is run by the second generation. Helen Hanley-McTaggart (MD) joined her father in 1996 and has been supported by her sister Victoria Nichols since 2004. Together they have built on Chris Hanley's reputation to become one of the largest Orthopaedic footwear manufacturers in the UK today, supplying over 150 hospitals.
