Chaneco are pleased to introduce another three new products into their extensive orthotics range this month.
The Chaneco paediatric range now includes the Pavlik Harness, the widely used treatment for hip dysplasia, and subluxation and congenital hip luxation. The fabric straps are soft lined for comfort, with Velcro fastening for ease of adjustment and secure fit.
Also new are the Hip Protectors, which significantly reduce the risk of hip fractures, particularly in patients with Osteoporosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and diseases of the joints. Providing increased confidence and ease of movement for the wearer, the Hip Protectors contain highly shock absorbent material built into the critical areas around the hips, which is capable of absorbing no less than 60% of the impact from a fall.
For complete immobilisation following finger fracture or tendon/ligament injuries, Finger Cots are now available to order in packs of twelve. Constructed of malleable aluminium with foam padding for patient comfort, they offer good finger tip protection whist remaining very simple to apply.
